It’s also a great place from which to explore Antigua and perhaps discover some of the other 300-plus beaches on and around this lovely island. During the day, Halcyon Cove has a range of activities for you to enjoy. Make the most of the beach location with water sports, relax around the freshwater outdoor pool, enjoy a game of tennis, or just settle down with a good book in our landscaped tropical gardens. Evenings at Halcyon Cove are all about delicious food and authentically Caribbean entertainment. Once the sun has gone down, the Arawak Terrace plays host to a buffet of delicious creole cuisine, alongside international favorites for less adventurous palates. One of Halcyon Cove’s most spectacular places to be is Warri Pier, our romantic a la carte restaurant, located on its own pier overlooking the ocean. After dinner, the elegant Ciboney Lounge is a great place to relax and take in some traditional Antiguan culture, whilst the lively Lobby Bar hosts a range of music-based entertainment. Room amenities include air conditioning, bath with tub, balcony or terrace, fridge, hairdryer, telephone and cable TV. Beachfront - One king bed or two twin beds. Smaller than poolside room. Children will not be accommodated in this room. Beachfront Suite - One king bed or two twin beds with sitting area and bedroom. Poolside - One king bed or two twin beds. Generally larger room with balcony or terrace with pool view. Located around the pool deck and closer to the beach. Standard - Two double beds, bathroom with shower only (no bathtub), and no TV. Balcony or terrace with garden view. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults. No rollaways or extra bedding. Superior - One king bed or two twin beds, and balcony or terrace with garden view. Specific bedding and/or special requests are fulfilled based on availability and cannot always be guaranteed. Halcyon Cove offers the following restaurants: The Arawak Terrace - A friendly and informal buffet-style restaurant with a limited a la carte menu. This is a non-smoking restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Warri Pier - Romantic a la carte dining on a private pier over the sea. Dinner is served between 6:30-11pm, and restaurant is closed on Sundays. Beach Barbecue - Lunch between noon and 3pm. Bars - Halcyon Cove
Halcyon Cove offers the following bars: Carib Bar - The perfect place for cooling off during the heat of the day. Located on the beach, the Carib Bar is open from 10.30am until 6.30pm. Ciboney Lounge - Halcyon Cove's cocktail lounge, and one of the locations for evening entertainment and dancing. Warri Pier Bar - Even if you don't want to sample Warri Pier's delicious a la carte menu, it's still a great place to relax with a cocktail and watch the sun go down. Open from 6:30pm. Halcyon Cove is poised on the white sands of Dickenson Bay, one of the Caribbean’s most beautiful beaches. Exchange your vows on the beach, then enjoy the perfect wedding breakfast at Warri Pier, located on its own private pier in the sea. Documentation Requirements: --Passports and birth certificates. --Original of proof of Decree Absolute for divorced clients. --Original of death certificate for widowed clients, together with original marriage certificate. --Original proof for name changes by Deed Poll. --Affidavit of Marital Status. --For clients aged under 18 years, evidence of parental consent is required (an original affidavit by Notary Public). --Adoption papers where relevant. Please note: Any relevant documentation should be translated into English and accompanied by the original documents. Residency Requirements: --One full working day on the island is required before application to marry can be made to the relevant authorities. --Weddings cannot take place at weekends or on public holidays, or in the sea.
